It's necessary to install the OptimiDoc to the multifunctional device before it can be used. To install the device please follow the steps bellow (for detailed information please go to section Devices):


1. Go to section Devices and Click on button .


2. Enter the device data:

- Device type:

  - Konica Minolta - select this option in case of Konica Minolta OpenAPI capable device.

  - Xerox - select this option for Xerox EIP capable devices

- Hewlett Packard - select this option for Hewlett Packard devices

  - HP Pro - select this option for Hewlett Packard PageWide Pro devices

  - Lexmark - select this option for Lexmark devices

  - Network device - all other network devices

- Name - name of device (will be used for reporting)

- Model - device model (by clicking the icon next to the text field, device model will be automatically detected).

- Location - location for device (will be used for reporting)

- IP address - device IP address

- Serial number - device serial number.

- Prefer SSL communication - option enables communication with device only via HTTPs.

- Use accounting - enables accounting of device operation. If you enable the device accounting you need to select the pricelist.


Pricelist can be defined in section Price.

3. For Develop, Konica Minolta, Xerox and Hewlett Packard device is necessary to fill also tabs Terminal and Advanced.


Terminal (detailed description is in section Device list):

- Device authentication - enable or disable authentication to device. When the option is checked then the users need to login to use the device.

- Authentication method - authentication type of user interface embedded in device.

- OptimiDoc as default application - OptimiDoc embedded application is started immediately after user login to device.

- Localization - force the localization of embedded user interface

- Display settings - selection of default tab


Advanced:

- Login - MFP administrator login name

- Password - MFP administrator password

- Separate application registration - check for separate application icons, Print and Scan on device screen

- OptimiDoc as default application - check if you want OptimiDoc as default application on your device

- Print all - check for display "Print all" button on your device screen, when you send documents to printer

- Use Pre-Authorization - device check rules and groups policy before print

- Delivery type - custom print job delivery type selection

- SNMP config - custom SNMP configuration selection
